Ken Robinson received the Distinguished Physician of the Year award from the Air Medical Physician's Association.
This award is one of there highest honors and is not given every year.

Tom Nowicki has been appointed to direct UCONN-SOM Simulation Center.

May 2008:  Tom Nowicki was awarded Associate Residency Director of the Year by EMRA.

November 2007:
AJ Smally, M.D., wins the prestigious Phil Stent Award.  Every year one physician in Connecticut receives this award for their dedication and leadership in Emergency Medicine.

Michael Tocci M.D., was awarded Resident of the Year by the Connecticut College of Emergency Physicians

Jim Suozzi D.O. was awarded a $2000 research grant from the Connecticut College of Emergency Physicians for an aeromedical airway research study

February 2007:
Tom Nowicki, M.D, Mark Dziedzic, MD., and Jim Suozzi, D.O., were awarded a $2000 dollar research grant from the Connecticut College of Emergency Physicians for a simulation based airway study.  One grant is awarded in Connecticut annually.
