1. Complete the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) Common Application Form (include photo). All U.S. medical students should complete this form through the Deans office of their medical school. All International Medical Graduates should contact the AAMC central office for instructions regarding submission of the ERAS application form. Applications to our program must be submitted to us through the ERAS system or they will not be reviewed.
2. Three letters of reference in addition to the Dean's letter are required and should be submitted to the Deans office for distribution. One letter must be from an emergency medicine physician. If the applicant has previously attended any other residency program(s), a letter verifying satisfactory performance from the program director(s) must also be included.
3. An official medical school transcript and USMLE or COMLEX scores are required. The applicant should check the appropriate boxes on the ERAS application form accordingly.
